1. Scope of Services

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of Vedic religious rituals, Hindu priestly ceremonies (16 Sanskars, Satyanarayan Katha, Grih Pravesh puja, Havans), and Vedic astrological consultations (Janam Kundali preparation, Ashtakoot Gun Milan, Muhurat calculation) conducted by Pandit Dinesh Shastri across Norway (Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger, Trondheim, etc.) as well as remote online consultations.

2. Booking and Scheduling

• Auspicious Dates & Timings: All ceremonies and rituals are scheduled based on mutual agreement and Vedic Muhurat calculations. In Norway, timing considers local daylight hours and sunrise/sunset coordinates.
• Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed once dates, venue address, and ceremonial requirements are explicitly agreed upon via email, WhatsApp, or telephone.
• Travel Outside Oslo: For pujas conducted in cities outside the greater Oslo region (e.g., Bergen, Stavanger, Trondheim, Kristiansand), any necessary travel or transit arrangements are discussed transparently prior to confirmation.

3. Preparation & Puja Samagri

• Pandit Ji provides a comprehensive checklist of required items (fruits, flowers, milk, ghee, clean cloth, sweets) well ahead of the ceremony date.
• The host family is responsible for arranging standard perishable items easily available in Norwegian stores. Pandit Ji brings traditional sacred items (sacred threads, gangajal, dhoop, specialized yajna samagri, and smoke-safe havan utensils suited for indoor Nordic dwellings).

4. Traditional Dakshina & Remuneration

In accordance with Sanatan Vedic tradition, spiritual services are accompanied by an honorable Dakshina (voluntary priest honorarium) representing gratitude for the sacred vidhi and time dedicated. Dakshina and ceremonial expenses are communicated transparently with no hidden charges.

5. Rescheduling & Cancellations

• Life circumstances or family emergencies may require rescheduling. We kindly request that notice be given as early as possible so that the reserved Muhurat slot can be made available to other families.
• In the rare event that adverse Scandinavian winter weather or unforeseen transport disruption affects travel, Pandit Ji will work diligently with you to reschedule at the next auspicious Muhurat.

6. Nature of Vedic Astrology Consultations

Vedic Astrology (Jyotish) is an ancient, revered cosmic science offering guidance based on planetary configurations at the time of birth. It serves as a tool for self-understanding, spiritual alignment, relationship harmony, and foresight. Astrological consultations and remedies are intended for constructive personal guidance and should not substitute for licensed professional medical, legal, or financial advice.

7. Respect for Tradition & Apartment Safety

All ceremonies are conducted in a peaceful, respectful, and sattvic atmosphere. For indoor ceremonies in Norwegian apartments, Pandit Ji uses clean, smokeless havan methods and adheres to all household safety and ventilation guidelines.
